OPEN WATER COURSE
This is most well-known and popular training program.
After earning your Open Water Diver certification, you will be able to dive with a buddy
in environments and depths equivalent to those experienced during your training.
- Six Academic Sessions
- Six Pool/Confined Water Sessions
- Four Open Water Training Dives
Your instructor may adjust the number of training sessions to accommodate
your needs or the training center’s training schedule.
They will also show – and help you to master – the skills needed to become a
safe and capable diver during your in-water training.
Since SSI firmly believes in creating capable divers, not just issuing certification
cards, you may participate in additional in-water sessions to ensure you have
the skills and comfort level to be a successful diver.
